The Barilla Pasta Championship aims to bring together talented chefs from across Asia to celebrate and elevate Italian gastronomy.
If you are a chef with at least 3 years of experience and looking for a challenge, this is for you.

Expand your network across a vibrant community of chefs and judges.
Top 3 Winners will embark on a trip to Parma, Italy's Food Valley and the home of Barilla, to explore the region's rich culinary heritage.
Top 3 Winners will also be awarded with cash prizes up to 3,000€, and a personalised Barilla Chef Jacket.
HOW DOES THE COMPETITION WORK
Submit your signature pasta recipe, featuring Barilla Spaghetti or Penne.
From the online submissions, six chefs from each country will be selected to compete in a live competition.
The top performer will be awarded the title of National Winner.
All National Winners will compete in a live competition for the prestigious Asia Final Champion title.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
- The aesthetics appeal of the dish
- Harmonious mix of elements and balanced flavour profile
- Skills in terms of preparation techniques
- Respect for pasta cooking (texture)
Note:
- Pasta to be focal element of the dish and recipe needs to include step by step process
- Cooking of the pasta recipe is to be completed within 45 minutes*, excluding the time needed for some preparation steps (*please refer to the full Terms and Conditions for more information)
